When I went to bed Notre Dame was ahead of Tennessee, and moving on to play for the Final Four was looking anything but inevitable for the Lady Vols.  Candace Parker’s 34 points, however, helped bring Tennessee back from a halftime deficit to a 74-64 win over the Irish.  (Did I already say Phew?)  With Rutgers, UConn, and Texas A&M prevailing, this leaves the women with an Elite Eight comprised entirely of #1’s and #2’s, as the games continue tonight and tomorrow.

Hey, Paula LR … now that you see what you’ll be dealing with in Tampa, are you still sure you want to go?  And hey, Alice … hope Paris was good.  Time to get back down to business, though … and we’ll be expecting some French verse before we’re all done.

And Morgan/Murray … can you hold your lead in the Women’s bracket while Morgan continues his climb on the Men’s side?

Oh yeah, and Chris/Dewd/Cynthia/Jane/Don/Rachel … are you going to let that happen?

In JordanCornblog Land, here’s how the standings shake out …[TABLE=29]
