Tough choices …

Here’s a fascinating site to check out in the last hours before the NH Primary vote.

I continue to feel torn … amongst the compelling arguments that each of the top three Democrats offer.  Hillary is incredibly knowledgeable, competent, and ready to go as of day one.  Obama is inspirational and appears to offer change.  John Edwards offers a populist, progressive message that appeals to me and has also taken an anti-nuclear energy stand

In the Democratic Party we have an embarrassment of riches.  Not a bad situation by any means – but a tough one in which to make a choice.  Do YOU have any suggestions?  I’d love to hear them!

  1. Yes – the warm weather is melting the snow (we’re now down to @ a foot and a half!) and also apparently bringing out the voters!

I heard Bill Clinton say the very same thing about the choice of candidates on the Daily Show. I think we do vote on 2/5.
Is that warm weather melting the record snow you mentioned in your entry today?
    It’s 64 degrees here.

  3. Indeed, I have voted … it’s crazy up here. The polls are packed and the candidates are EVERYWHERE. Hillary was just out and about in downtown Concord … and the weather is about 50 degrees warmer than it was this time last week.

I’m with you on wanting to keep things going and not get swept away just yet. I went with Edwards – but none of the choices were bad on the Democratic side IMHO. Do you vote on 2/5 along with all the other big guns?

I am leaning toward Obama, but if I lived in New Hampshire, I’d vote for Hillary just to keep this race going a little longer–it will toughen them up. Meanwhile, no one has to hold their nose to vote for Edwards but enough with white males already!
Am I too late? Have you voted?

Hey HAC – thanks for your comment and advice. I really agree with you about the polls and I hate it that they sway people (and me, sometimes). Here’s John Edwards’ page on – I thought you’d be interested in it: Thanks again – tomorrow sure is going to be interesting!

  6. HAC says:

I think you should go with Edwards no matter what the polls say. I heard Hillary has literature out there in NH saying that Obama is NOT pro-choice which is WRONG, and it is negative campaigning. If not Edwards, go with Obama.

So, what do you think?
