Early Shift – Germany vs Brazil and Other Tidbits

Wow – the early shift brought two ties (Germany-Brazil 0-0; New Zealand-Japan 2-2) and a win by Canada over Argentina (2-1). Watching the Germany-Brazil match-up on line was a nice experience. No announcers – just the crowd noise (and the occasional grunts and other miscellaneous noises on my part). I thought Brazil had the better of it, especially in the second half. Had it not been for some nice play by Angerer (and the German goal post) the outcome would have been different.

I’m moving to the TV for the USWNT vs. Norway (and getting ready for work in the interim).  Here’s a nice article about Angela Hucles … for anyone who’s just hanging out waiting for 7:45!
