Wednesday Morning – It Wasn't Just a Dream!

POTUSGood news still abounds!

While we were sleeping, Obama smashed McCain in Nevada, and won Indiana for the Dems – first time since Lyndon Johnson in 1964!  The turnout was the highest in US electoral history, with more than 130 million people voting!  Things are still being decided in North Carolina, Montana, and Missouri … and in Georgia – an early prize in the McCain column, it’s looking like some of the early votes have not yet been counted, so hold on!  Maybe Saxby Chambliss doesn’t get to celebrate just yet.  Keep an eye on FiveThirtyEight.com today … as news continues to come in!

When is the last time that people around the world celebrated anything having to do with America?

When is the last time you wept while listening to a presidential acceptance speech?

Here’s a great quote I found as a comment on a You Tube video of Obama …

“Come to the edge, he said. They said: We are afraid. Come to the edge, he said. They came. He pushed them,

And they flew…”

– Guillaume Apollinaire
