You've Read the Book – Now See the Movie

Okay – here’s my first Flip Video movie.  And here are a few things that I have learned:

  1. You lose a little focus when you zoom in – especially if there’s a lot of variation in the light.
  2. When it comes to video – shorter is probably better – especially when it’s your first.
  3. When I’ve had a lot of coffee, my hands shake.
  4. It probably helps to take off the protective plastic film over the lens before shooting your first movie.
  5. They won’t let you use copyrighted audio on You Tube … duh …
  6. I really do feel guilty about the piano.

LOL – I am so glad that you enjoy the blog … and would strongly urge you to explore the possibility of doing one yourself. You would be great – and it’s free – and fun – and the possibilities are endless!

We actually left before the encore(s) – which I heard were amazing! It’s tough getting old(er).

Have a great Sunday! And Hi to Nancy M!!

    Hi,

I’m still enough of a Luddite to not know where this comment will end up or if I’m supposed to address you by name or if your idendity is a secret or who knows what else in the world of blogs. But I did want to tell you that I enjoy your blog (and some of the links), and that it was through checking it out the other day that I realized that I guessed I missed you on Thursday night.

I, too, was at the Lucinda William concert that night. I came to “know” her late, but typical of any new devotee, I just love her. And wasn’t she generous with her time?

Anyhow, I’m sorry that I didn’t see you so that I could have at least said hello. I was there with with Nancy Morse — another former workplace alum . . . or refugee; I’ll have to ask her how she views it.

It’s supposed to be in the fifties today!

    Take care,
    Michelle
