Weekend Schedule

Here you go … remember, this is CENTRAL TIME … and I’m too hungry at the moment to do any reliable math so you’re on your own with any necessary translations … ;>)

SATURDAY, MARCH 26

Ohio State vs. Tennessee……….11:00am……….ESPN

Oklahoma vs. Notre Dame……….1:30……….ESPN

Gonzaga vs. Louisville……….8:00……….ESPN

North Carolina vs. Stanford……….10:30……….ESPN2

SUNDAY, MARCH 27

Georgetown vs. UConn……….11:00am……….ESPN

DePaul vs. Duke……….1:30……….ESPN2

Georgia vs. Texas A&M……….3:30……….ESPN2

UW Green Bay vs. Baylor……….6:30……….ESPN2

Meanwhile, on the men’s side things have gotten a little out of hand.  VCU?  Amazing.  Kentucky … well done.  Sorry to see Marquette and Richmond bow out after nice runs.  UNC is looking a little daunting to me.

Onward!

  1. Not shabby at all … and I absolutely love how they have come through. Who’d a thunk!? Meanwhile, Georgetown scared the bejeezuz out of UConn … and I fully expect Gonzaga to give Stanford a run for their money. Parity seems to be for real … at least this year.

Hmmm….George Mason in ’06 and now Virginia Commonwealth. Seems like these “little” mid-division schools in Virginia have something going on. What I like about VCU is their coach, Smart: 33 years old, 1 year as an assistant, 10 months at VCU, Final Four. Not a shabby start as a head coach…
