I'm Off … Sort of …

So after today I’m off – to Bates Parents’ Weekend and the up to Deer Island.  There will be slim pickings here, I’m afraid … but I do have a few (very exciting) items in the works … and a standing invitation to Alice to be a guest blogger (which she has been ignoring thus far).

In news, I do see that the Fever have evened up their series with the Mercury at 1-1.

I’ll be missing out on FFootball this coming Sunday (unless there’s a wireless connection) … so Doris (wannabes), let me apologize ahead of time for trouncing you!

Oh, and Mo (SirHitsAlot) … see you soon for some face-to-face trash talk!

Alright, so I’m pretty sure, by the time you get around to reading this, any minuscule hopes you may of had for a glorious win, have been snuffed out. Let me be the first (and probably only) one to extend my condolences. It just wasn’t meant to be, my friend! Perhaps though, there is a lesson to be learned here. Never underestimate the power of the bees, WANNABES that is! Take heart Jord, it isn’t over yet. Maybe after you have yourself a good cry, and wash all that stardust out of your eyes, you may finally realize BlitzenBabes potential is limited and attributes– overrated. There’s still hope for you though, just keep an eye on Wannabes, you can learn alot.

Lobster, eh? LOL – the proof will be in the pudding, now won’t it? Watch my good friend Calvin Johnson, who’s due for a breakout game.

    And David Garrard? Seriously?

I’ll be doing my best to check in on-line when I can tomorrow … and I’m thinking you may want to plan for a couple of church services tomorrow … and then maybe some sort of a Wake for Tuesday morning. HollyCornblog might be able to attend if you plan it for Stewart’s, late in the afternoon. I’m sure you’ll be needing some support with the feelings of humiliation and shame. (Try not to take it personally – it’s just a game.)

I like your renaming idea, though … what do you think if the shouldabeens, mightabeens, or couldabeens. Or maybe just the hasbeens!

Your bravery and faux self-confidence in the face of almost certain defeat, is endearing. I like that in an opponent! It takes guts to bluff your way through to the bitter end.
Of course double agent Doltgirl will have to come with us! We might need her to quell the bickering and diffuse any possible urges to start phlinging phood around.
Too bad you won’t be able to watch any of the action this Sunday. But then again, maybe it would be best if you didn’t. No sense in ruining the end of your week-end excursion. I have to know though, Will you be changing your name to 2BrokenBabes? Or BustedBabes? Personally, I think 2BungledBabes has a more natural sounding ring to it. Good Luck to you Jordy.
Oh, and by the way, did I mention that I love lobster? Bring your checkbook.

LOL – no way! The Babes rule … and wannabes are just that … wannabes!

I am NOT aphraid … and I think lunch to the victor is a great idea.

Since HollyCornblog serves as consultant to both of these stellar teams … do you think she should get a free lunch from the trouncee, too? (Or perhaps the trouncer … seeing as how she probably will have had a hand in either trouncer’s success!)

Ahh,my poor dear delusional friend. Really….trouncing?? That’s kinda harsh, don’t you think? Maybe it’s time someone de-blitzed your bloated bantering. Let me reiterate from the tweet you obviously ignored. Be aphraid. Be VERY APHRAID! The Babes are going down! Let’s make a little wager, shall we? Trouncee takes trouncer to lunch when you come down in November. What do you say? Are you game?
